Our client is a major food packaging and foodservice products leader, supplying packers, processors, supermarkets, restaurants, institutions and foodservice outlets across North America. SAP Process Specialist

As our clients SAP Process Specialist, youll be called upon to be the subject matter expert that will lead the SAP Financial Systems (FICO) team on all processes within the group. Understand, this is not an IT position. You will provide guidance and training to the SAP Financial Systems ledger team and its business partners on current process and best practices, and will serve as a backup to the department manager. In addition, you will evaluate current processes and work with the technical and business teams to implement new processes that maintain financial integrity, Sox controls, and improve efficiency. You will participate in and lead the Financial System teams special projects to drive the business forward.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance or Computer Science with some related finance/accounting exposure, CPA and/or MBA highly preferred. A minimum of six years of relevant experience, system and business process analysis, and project-management, preferably in a Food Packaging industry, is required. Our client requires a candidate with a manufacturing background, who is systems oriented and will provide product support for SAP, Oracle or JDE. You must be comfortable with the help desk for the finance department. Your exposure to a wide range of business functions in a manufacturing environment, prior business support, and strong business aptitude, problem-solving and analytical skills will serve well. If youre customer focused, self-motivated and team-oriented, this could be your next position. Finally, you must have an ability to work well under pressure, interact and influence at all levels, work a flexible schedule during peak periods, and commit to meeting tight deadlines.
