Payroll Tax Administrator

Company currently located in Schaumburg, relocating to Lake Forest by the end of the year
The production of timely and accurate payroll for assigned location on a weekly basis. Production of payroll includes, maintenance of time keeping system, data entry of employee data and audit of final payroll checks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Keys all employee information into ADP Workforce, which includes: data entry of new hires, terminations, rate increases, position changes, advance payments and address changes.
2. Sets up appropriate panels for employee status, benefits, deductions, etc.
3. Performs pre and post audit of payroll related changes to ensure accurate payroll.
4. Assists field HR staff with troubleshooting problems with pay, HRIS issues.
5. Maintains employee s payroll files with all appropriate documents/payroll forms.
6. Audits entries made by locations for accuracy and compliance with company procedures and policies.
7. Responsible for administrative support including filing, copying, shredding, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
5-7 years of payroll experience processing high volume payroll. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient user in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain confidentiality, and provide consistent customer service with internal and external contacts. Must have good mathematical skills. Must be detail-oriented.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
