Position and Description: The Tech Support Rep is a key member of our customer service and inside sales departments. Primarily focusing on the more technical aspect of the Lighting Industry, this individual will guide our customers and outside sales representatives through their questions with detailed knowledge of our Products. This is a two part position where the individual will be focused on providing excellent customer service to our customers and at the same time providing assistance to our other sales engineers by creating lighting layouts and product/data sheets.

Responsibilities include:
Provide technical support to outside sales representatives and customers via telephone or email communications
Calculate accurate pricing and lead time quotations of product to outside sales representatives
Answer customer inquiries regarding order status and product availability
Process purchase orders and return authorizations into NetSuite in a timely manner
Assist in the creation of product data sheets and photometric layouts
Assist company's owner or other office members with special projects or reports

The individual should meet the following requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma is mandatory
Associate Degree or higher in related field is preferred but not required
Experience:
Background in Lighting or similar field is strongly preferred
Basic technical or electrical engineering experience is a plus
Basic software knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Some knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign is a plus
Misc. Items:
Must have an energetic and positive attitude
Must be able to handle high pressure situations
Must be comfortable with learning new product , software and procedures at any timeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
