Transportation Analyst

Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the day-to-day facilitation and coordination of the company's division's rail and trucking distribution needs. This includes analyzing company operations in order to identify opportunities for distribution cost savings, accumulating and analyzing data to support recommendations, and assessing and developing alternative courses of action to provide optimum customer service balanced with cost efficiency. Other duties as assigned and able to travel up to 20% of the time.
Requirements:
-Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business, transportation or logistics
-A minimum of 1 year work experience in rail and truck delivery within a transportation function
-Ability to rotate on-call responsibilities to be the main point of contact 24 hours a day, seven days a week
-Ability to travel approximately 20% to various locations as necessary
-Strong attention to detail
-Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
