Position Purpose
Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the Vice President of EHS in analyzing the effectiveness of the company's Management Systems on an ongoing basis. The goal is to deliver an employee safety cultural attitude of zero accidents, reduce business risks, protect fixed assets, and reduce Workers' Compensation costs.



Principal Accountabilities:

1. This position will be responsible for coordinating and generating all relevant EHS reports as requested by the EHS Group and various stake holders.

2. This position will be responsible for working closely with the IT Group to manage all electronic EHS database systems.

3. The position will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and communication of risk management, workers' compensation, and other EHS related activities with the corrugated plants and the primary mills.

4. This position will be responsible for working with the Workers' Compensation Manager to closely monitor claims and ensure timely resolution and claim closures.

5. This position will be responsible for assisting the Product Stewardship Manager in managing the Safety Data Sheets electronic system.


Education Requirements:

Education equivalent to: bachelor's degree in business management systems.

Work
Experience: Incumbent should have 10 years of experience working electronic database systems and proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Incumbent should have experience working with Workers' Compensation Management and / or Environmental, Health and Safety Departments.

Skills: Complex problem solving; flexible; desire to grow; keen interpersonal skills; strong analytical aptitude for analysis and interpretation of statistical data; ability to communicate quickly and effectively across organizational boundaries in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
