Position Description
We are seeking a Summer intern for our Lake Forest, IL office to assist with the following:
This intern will be actively involved in a project that will provide business and financial valuation analysis for evaluating new business opportunities and particularly startup healthcare companies and other duties as assigned.
Develop or implement product- marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions.
Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or output.
Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Coordinate activities of departments, such as sales, graphic arts, media, finance, and research.
Provide presentation and product demonstration support during the introduction of new products and services to field staff and customers.
Assist with evaluation of companies to buy.
Position Requirements
Must be enrolled in a graduate program with at least one year of college completed.
Advanced experience using MS Office suite.
Preferred area of study/coursework in one or more of the following:
Business Administration, Management and Operations, Finance and Financial Management, Marketing
Previous Venure Capital experience a plus.
