Your Role:
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the supply planning strategy and operations within a Reynolds Business Unit to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This position will collaborate and serve as the liaison between the supply planning team and cross-functional teams within the organization to facilitate understanding the supply plan, logistics forecast, and budget. Ensure supply and inventory plans are established in conjunction with demand plans and manufacturing capacity to meet business needs. Build strong relationships and partnership with operations, materials planning, and procurement teams to ensure supply plans are realistic and achievable while optimizing service and inventory. Conduct analysis and present recommendations and findings related to supply plans, inventory levels/days of supply, service level, SLOB (slow moving and obsolete), and other key supply chain measures to all levels of management. Build and support project plans to implement recommendations that define impacts to supply, product distribution, inventory, and service while evaluating the impact of business driven go to market changes. Support cross functional collaboration to ensure successful product commercialization and seasonal inventory planning from a supply perspective. Interact with business partners and customers, review requests and changes, as well as assess the impact of requested changes. Recommend improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using research, supplier relationships, industry knowledge, analytics, and best business practices. Initiate and lead supply prioritization discussions during capacity constrained periods. Lead and/or support troubleshooting and problem resolution for planning issues impacting service. Manage a team of planners in the daily execution of their roles and support ongoing career growth and development of the supply planners. Ultimately, you will use your expertise in logistics and supply chain to provide leadership and guidance to the team and ensure that our supply chain operations run smoothly. BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field. 7
years of related professional and progressive experience in supply chain in a multi-facility environment utilizing MPS, CPP, and MRP. Prior team management experience combined with a proven record of accomplishment, developing, coaching, and mentoring a diverse supply chain team. Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel. Proficient in SAP, Logility, and/or other ERP systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization. Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers. Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners. Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines. Ability to travel on a limited basis (5%). Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams. Icing on the cake:
