Modern office setting Food provided Growth opportunities Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers - Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation - Assist with food preparation, such as making drinks etc - Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns Starting pay $15/hour +tips (although during training $12.
50/hours no tips) On rotation for register, making drinks and dishes.
Everyone is expected to be cleaning counters and tables Bathrooms need to cleaned every night and stocked(closing shift) Restocking low ingredients(closing shift) Prepping ingredients for the day(morning shift) Balancing the register at the end of the night and tip jar Miscellaneous (taking out the trash and etc) 1st come 1st serve when asking for time off Too many call off or tardies can result in termination 1 free drink per shift Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required - Basic math skills for cash handling and register transactions - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Strong attention to detail for accurately preparing beverages and processing orders - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Knowledge of retail math for calculating prices, discounts, and change Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is also necessary.
