She is also the Adeline Barry Davee Professor of Management and Organizations at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
We are looking for an exceptionally bright, driven, organized, and detail-oriented individual with an exceptional work ethic and passion for the world of business.
In this position, you will work with Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries and functions such as real estate, healthcare, energy, tech, CPG, and private equity.
The pace is fast, with the opportunity to learn more in one year at Medvec & Associates than usually available in three years at typical professional services firms through the exposure to Dr.
Medvec's sessions, training, consulting, and MBA classes.
Not only will the Client Relations Associate have the chance to be exposed to deal making at the C-suite level, but will also have the advantage of sharpening personal negotiation and decision-making skills.
In addition to working directly with Dr.
Medvec, the Client Relations Associate will also support the Managing Directors of the firm, composed of accomplished professionals from varying industries with top business school backgrounds.
This is a one-year contract position that requires availability of at least 30 hours per week, with the ability to extend the commitment after one year.
While most of the work is completed virtually, travel for workshops and meetings will be required.
Candidates in the Chicago area are preferred.
-------------------CLIENT RELATIONS ASSOCIATE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESClient Management:
The Client Relations Associate will interact with clients as the point of contact before, during, and after engagements, whether related to virtual or live training, or consulting calls.
Business Analysis:
The Client Relations Associate will conduct research and prepare briefings for Dr.
Medvec in advance of meetings and engagements and will be required to stay up to date on clients by monitoring earnings calls, news sources, and other information sources that give insight into clients' pressing needs.
Conference Reporting:
The Client Relations Associate will join designated client calls and engagements to take notes for any follow-up needed, and then will send these conference reports to appropriate parties after the calls.
Presentation Development:
The Client Relations Associate will create customized slide decks for client engagements, designing both the content and structure as appropriate, and will oversee the facilitation of workbooks, handouts, and other materials as required.
On-Site Support:
The Client Relations Associate will attend live sessions and oversee set up of the session space, which can range from ensuring that meeting-theme decorations are in place, to taking notes on white boards, to assisting with any other tasks as required/requested.
Sales Cycle and Database Management:
The Client Relations Associate will champion the company's CRM and will monitor and maintain the CRM to ensure that all information is up-to-date.
Marketing:
The Client Relations Associate may be tasked with supporting Medvec & Associate's marketing efforts via social media updates and marketing content generation.
All tasks related to this role will be completed maintaining an extremely high level of confidentiality.
-------------------ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIESBachelor's degree with record of academic achievement.
2-3 years of post-graduate experience in a professional work environment required.
Experience in a professional services/consulting firm, outside sales, customer care, business support functions a plus.
Excellent client management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skillsStrong initiative and ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environmentAbility to work independently, but be highly collaborative with clients and Medvec TeamTechnical requirements include familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, medium to strong level of skill with PowerPoint, and familiarity with CRM/Database management or ability to quickly learn.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
