Impact is seeking a Cinematographer to join our Award Winning Best and Brightest Workplace! Impact is looking for a driven Cinematographer for our Media Production team.
This person is required to possess both technical and creative abilities to be able to produce a video from ideation to completion.
This role will be responsible for working out in the field capturing video footage for various video projects.
Not only will this person be out in the field, in studio, but also aligning with post-production and completing video projects.
As a member of our growing Media team, the Cinematographer will play a critical role in ensuring the team's success in creating cutting-edge, creative videos while meeting deadlines on various video projects.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with manager/project leads/creative directors to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be create - Capture action on camera for multiple video projects using our in-house camera and lighting systems - Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software to be delivered in the correct format to postproduction - Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation - Determine what equipment is needed for different shoots - Conducting research regarding available locations, props, sun position, and weather conditions at the prospective film sites - Visiting locations and taking a series of test shots before deciding on the angles, filers, film stock, framing, equipment, lighting, and techniques that will be used to create the desired atmosphere of the film.
- Keeping up-to-date with advances in the film industry and attending workshops and training sessions wherever possible.
- Expanding networks and maintaining relationships with industry professionals.
- Cleaning and assembling hardware - Calibrating and maintaining equipment - Work with the Video Team onsite for filming projects as needed Things We Are Looking For:
An experienced Cinematographer who consistently seeks new ways to approach video projects.
Creates strong videos to further generate more leads to meet our Video team goals.
This person must work collaboratively in a team setting while pushing the quality of our video content.
The team is also venturing into virtual production, moving into a new studio facility where we will utilize an LED wall in conjunction with UNREAL Engine for several projects.
Experience or general knowledge in virtual production is a bonus.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in film or related degree is required - Professional knowledge of video and audio editing software and programs (Adobe suite preferred) - 3-5 years of experience - Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously - Creative experience in filmmaking and lighting techniques - Drone certified - Experience with cinema lenses, stedicam/ronin, sliders/jibs, and gaffer abilities.
- Flexibility and good listening skills - Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment - Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with project leads and the ability to bring them to life - Proficient in creating concept mood boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects Candidates must provide a portfolio Benefits- 20 days of PTO- 12

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
