Are you looking to build a strong career and make a positive impact? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Functional Materials Planning Manager to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Your Role:
As a Functional Materials Planning Manager, you will work hands-on to develop standardized material replenishment planning business processes, define optimal total supply chain solutions and utilize a variety of systems to achieve goals.
You will be focused on delivering continuous improvement directly tied to material replenishment and waste reduction.
You will serve as the material planning liaison interacting across supply chain and alternate functions.

You will have the opportunity to:
Serves as a subject matter expert for material planning business processes, understanding differences across category teams.
Collaborates and serves as liaison with business and functional teams to facilitate understanding of forecast and budget.
Track material planning initiatives, synergies and supports variance analysis.
Recommends and presents findings and recommendations to all levels of management.
Build and support project plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
Includes development of standardized tools to support key decisions; both short and long term while evaluating impact of business driven go to market changes.
Recommend improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using research, supplier relationships, industry knowledge and best business practices.
Develop standard business processes and tools to manage and analyze material inventory levels and alignment with critical suppliers on material availability.
Ensure the creation of a material requirements and inventory schedule are aligned with master planning and manufacturing.
Ensure material processes are in line with finished goods inventory plan in conjunction with demand plans, financial plans and manufacturing processes.
Ultimately, you will use your expertise in logistics and supply chain to provide leadership and guidance to the team and ensure that our supply chain operations run smoothly.

We need you to have:
BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field.
6
years of related professional and progressive experience in supply chain in a multi-facility environment utilizing MPS, CPP, and MRP.
Prior team management experience combined with a proven record of accomplishment of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse supply chain team.
Proficient in SAP and operational master data.
Proficient in Logility and/or Blue Yonder and/or Supply Planning toolProficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
Ability to travel on a limited basis.
(5%)Icing on the cake:
MBA or other advanced degree.
APICS certification.
Prior experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
