YOUTH TRAVEL BASEBALL COACHES (Experience Required)
Scouts Baseball Scouts Baseball Lake Forest, IL Lake Forest, IL Contract Contract $20 - $50 an hour $20 - $50 an hour Scouts Baseball is a premier travel baseball organization located in the Lake Forest, Illinois area.
The Scouts Baseball program has partnered with a brand new, state of the art 28,000 sq.
ft indoor baseball facility (The Farm) which will provide year-round indoor training.
Multiple batting cages, dirt pitching mounds, and Hittrax (batting simulators) will be at our disposal.
Our coaches will also have the opportunity to conduct private lessons in this facility outside of team practices.
TRAVEL BASEBALL COACHES We are currently seeking baseball head coaches, assistant coaches, & specially coaches to join our travel baseball program (8yrs-15yrs old).
Ideal candidates will have a deep baseball knowledge with the ability to manage, condition, and teach our athletes in a positive and healthy manner.
The underlying goal of our organization is to prepare our athletes for high school athletics.
All baseball coaches must be able to run practice a minimum of 2x a week at our parks &/or facilities in Lake Forest.
Coaches will help conduct winter workouts in preparation for the spring & summer seasons.
This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned high school or college baseball players who are looking to supplement income.
Our organization is also open to adding additional teams if you have a team looking for a new home.
Experience Desired:
- Coaching candidates with Pro baseball, Semi-Pro, Collegiate, High School, or baseball Coaching experience are desired.
- Ability to structure practices efficiently to keep all athletes engaged while they receive needed skill work.
- Excellent communication skills and sportsmanship.
Common tasks will include communication with both young athletes and potentially emotional parents.
- Ability to work well with other coaches - LEAVE YOUR EGO's AT HOME!! We all have the same end goal of continuing to build a solid, reputable baseball organization - where our young athletes can fall in love with baseball - as we did.
- Demonstrate professionalism and foster a positive environment on and off the field.
- Knowledge of Illinois High School Association (IHSA) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations.
- Commitment to be on time and attend all games & practices.
We understand emergencies happen & certain things cannot be rescheduled.

- All candidates must successfully undergo pre-employment screenings and have clean backgrounds.
- Salary will be based on experience.
