Summary:
Under general supervision of the Facility Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance and oversight of all building related equipment to include building electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, and grounds; coordinates all preventative maintenance work, preventative maintenance documentation, and contractor work as it relates to the various building systems.
Principle Accountabilities:
Maintain fire, carbon monoxide, smoke detection systems and other corporate office building related safety systems.
Assist in corporate office building evacuation exercises.
Ability to trouble shoot and repair corporate office building HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and records of corporate office building systems.
Efficiently operate computer related corporate office building control and monitoring systems.
Provide high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Oversee contractor work being performed on corporate office property.
Assist with internal office moves within the corporate office.
Maintain inventory levels of corporate office critical building systems replacement parts, filters, lighting, etc.
Trouble shoot and repair, or coordinate repair of corporate office building structure components and furniture.
Responsible for knowing and following policies and procedures of the company; for sharing information that would benefit other members of the team; and for finding ways to improve the delivery of service to our customers.

Position Requirements:
Four years of facilities management experience with associate degree or six years of facilities management experience preferred.
HVAC and electric experience a must.
Communication skills:
good listening, clear instructions.
Ability to work evenings and weekends when required.
Ability to be on call 24/7.
Ability to climb ladders, and lift 60 lbs.
Ability to work with hand and power tools.
Attention to detail, accuracy.
Awareness and practice of good safety procedures.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates ability to multi-task and coordinate various projects.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
