QC inspection of work in progress bulk product, finished product and assembly items to certify quality, adherence to specifications and testing procedures.
Performs pre operational inspections on the equipment's after sanitation activities.
Inspects and analyzes work in progress product and performs periodic freshness tests on Bulk and Finished goods Ensures product conformance with bill of material and catalog and report necessary changes Monitor HACCP and prerequisite programs throughout the production run Assist in special projects such as development and maintenance of SQF program:
raw material, packaging, finished product specifications, allergen program, micro testing samples, hold and release, COA, Records & documents results of all testing procedures and maintains all QA documentation Follow and enforce GMP practices and procedures, report any safety and quality issues to the Manager Complete Preoperational inspections Communicates problems/out-of-specification issues to supervisor/lead and operations personnel.
Reviews documentation for completeness and compliance with GMPs and SOPs.
Performs random in-process testing to verify operator's results.
Performs raw material evaluation on all incoming shipments and obtains representative lot samples.
Completes necessary Quality inspection documentation including creation of standard operating procedures.
Creation of specification for bulk, finished products.
Assist Manager in creation of nutritional labels to run on Packaging machines.
Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned 2nd Shift Quality Technician - $22/hr - $.
75/hr for shift premium.
