Summary (Essential Functions) Responsible for the consistent display of hospitality toward all members, guests, and others through maintaining and providing top service standards in a professional and friendly manner.
Also responsible for the set up of Kitchen and Dining Room services area, tables, and buffet presentations consistent with required standards.
Serve as food runner to Servers and remove used and dirty dishes, trays, etc.
, to Kitchen for cleaning or disposal.
Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities) A.
Assists Servers in the set-up, service and clean up tasks.
Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.
B.
Assists in carrying food trays to service areas of the Club.
Ensures that Servers are aware of orders for delivery service.
C.
Sets up buffet service areas, consistently attends to them for top quality cleanliness and ensure freshness of food stocked throughout the service period.
D.
Sets tables with silverware, glassware, and other service items as needed.
E.
Keeps tables, dining room and bus station areas clean before and after use.
Removes trash, soiled and used dishes, etc.
, from service stand areas returns them to the Kitchen.
F.
Stocks Servers' stations with supplies.
G.
Collects soiled linen from dining room service areas and returns them to laundry pickup area.
H.
Takes packaged OC To-Go orders to the Receptionist for delivery to members.
I.
Folds napkins and break service folds.
J.
Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
K.
Attends pre-meal meetings prior to each shift as required by the dining room captain (dining room supervisor, dining room manager or outlet manager).
L.
Cleans up spills, broken service ware and attends to similar problems during service with minimal disruption to diners.
M.
Assists banquet staff in setting up, service and cleaning up after banquet events and functions.
N.
Polishes silver service items and trophies as needed.
O.
Moves tables and chairs, etc.
, as needed for the next member and guest diners.
P.
Re-sets tables at end of shift for the next meal period.
Q.
Consistently follows local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
R.
Performs other appropriate duties assigned by dining room or outlet manager.

Adheres to all federal, state, and local laws regarding health, safety, and employment.
T.
Consistently adheres to all policies and procedures as stated in the Club's current Employee Handbook in a manner, which is fair and equitable to all employees of the Club.
