We are currently seeking a Showroom Manager who will manage daily operations and sales at the storefront level.
The Showroom Manager will oversee a team of employees who will drive the skylight installation process from initial customer contact, to sales closing, to final installation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a team of showroom employees in adherence with the Solatube Home Mission Statement and Core Values.
Direct retail sales performance through market planning, sales management, coaching, and superior customer service.
Train employees on Solatube sales process, installation and safety best practices for both Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Certified Installation Consultants (CICs).
Recruit, retain and develop ISRs and CICs.
Monitor and report on sales metrics.
Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, management, and external contacts.
Attends meetings and classes as required.
Performs all related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs), Certified Installation Consultants (CICs).
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION Bachelor's degree in business or marketing discipline required or experience working in retail sales management in the construction industry.
Excellent communication, organizational, and mathematical skills.
Computer competency in word processing, spreadsheet and database is required.
Proven leadership and managerial skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION The position is full time.
Consequently, the employee must be able to work an eight (8) hour day, Monday through Friday.
The employee must be drug free, in that he or she may not hold the position and use illegal and/or non-prescribed drugs.
Sits for extended periods of time.
Some standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
Uses standard office equipment.
Extensive phone use.
Some lifting up to 25 lbs.
Performs job site visits when needed for sales or customer service issues.
ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS Works indoors in office environment and outdoors at events or shows or job sites.
Travel and overnight stays will be required at times.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
REQUIRED TOOLS AND/OR EQUIPMENT USED Standard office equipment including but not limited to computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, and calculator.
Valid driver's license and insurability is required.
EFFECT ON END RESULT Grow sales within Solatube Home by ensuring new and existing stores are set up and operated for optimum performance.
All for the effect of developing and supporting the business model to be exported to the Premier Dealer Network.
