Position Overview:
Our Enterprise Project Management team is growing and currently looking for a Sr Director, Project & Program Management. Trustmark is moving towards a more Agile and product-oriented delivery model. In this role, you will play a critical role to:
Drive and support partnership across IT, Shared Services, and Trustmark's business units in a matrixed operating model Advance agile and product management practices, in balance with traditional project delivery Realize successful business outcomes and value from delivery of the enterprise portfolio As a Sr Director, you'll be responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects and/or programs, typically larger and more complex in nature. This involves all facets of program and project leadership and delivery, including:
planning, delivery (process, risk and change management), relationship management, team leadership, and governance compliance. You'll partner with business sponsors/key stakeholders to confirm success criteria and desired outcomes, leverage resources, manage change and mitigate/manage program/project risk throughout the life cycle. You'll also manage a team of Project Managers (PMs) and/or Scrum Masters to support delivery of the portfolio. Ultimately you'll ensure your team is working effectively, while maintaining accountability and compliance with Trustmark standards and governance requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle. Please note this position will be entirely virtual until our projected return to office date of January 3rd, 2022, at which time our associates will be working in a hybrid capacity of 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
Responsibilities:
Project Management and Delivery Lead all aspects of the project life cycle in partnership with Portfolio Manager and project members/sponsors (budget, forecasting, resource management, milestone tracking and risk/issue mitigation plans) Partner with Portfolio Manager to plan and initiate projects (i.e., confirm detailed work plan, roles and governance requirements for project) Integrate change management, business process re-engineering, and other methodologies and activities as appropriate Assess, monitor and mitigate/resolve priority project risks as they are encountered (i.e., execution risk, business risk, technology risk and people risk), escalating issues appropriately Develop and implement communication plans to actively engage and keep all stakeholders informed Manage multiple work stream leads Monitor progress and anticipate operational and budgetary issues, taking preemptive action to mitigate risks Governance Compliance Maintain compliance and consistent execution of EPMO standards, governance and reporting requirements Respond to customized requests to facilitate required project visibility and Portfolio quality audits Represent project at project governance, Business Unit and Enterprise-wide forums Contribute to development and/or enhancement of governance standards and compliance, including for agile and product-oriented delivery People Leadership and Development Create a safe and inclusive environment for your team to thrive and grow in their career Recruit and hire highly skilled project management and/or agile, scrum professionals Establish clear performance expectations and provide constructive performance feedback and recognition, formally and informally Review team member work products and deliverables to provide feedback and ensure quality Coach, mentor, train and support team members in the fulfilment of their portfolio delivery and support functions Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation, embracing change that is required Project and Professional Relationship Management Build and sustain positive relationships across the enterprise and EPMO team, reinforcing a positive environment of collaboration and respect Maintain highest standards of customer service and business professionalism Utilize position and influential powers to engage others in support of project, portfolio delivery and Enterprise PMO success
Qualifications:
Strong intellectual curiosity Bachelor's degree and 8
years of related experience; Master's degree preferred Strong project management background required; prior people management experience preferred Experience successfully planning and managing highly complex and large-scale enterprise-based programs/projects, including budget management/oversight Agile transformation and experience leading agile teams in product-oriented delivery model and/or scaled agile environment Strong leadership competence, with proven skills in managing change, critical thinking/reasoning Strong collaboration, influencing and influencing skills Proven communication skills; both written and verbal with technical and non-technical staff and all levels of management Proficient in Microsoft applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio); experience with the Microsoft Product Suite, including Project Server and SharePoint, Azure Boards and ADO platform Insurance industry experience preferred Change Management and Business Process Reengineering experience preferred Agile and scrum certification (CSM) preferred
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Business Project ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
