The Director of Ecommerce Strategy will help drive sales and efficiencies across the Brunswick enterprise through strategic planning and realization of new digital commerce business opportunities. This leader will be responsible for managing best in class ecommerce strategy and vision in a highly matrixed organization. Job Responsibilities o Research competitive industry benchmarks, internal strategy and capabilities, customer experience, and market data to define new digital commerce opportunities o Identify strategic gaps and long-term growth opportunities for the business o Work with Customer Insights and Analytics teams to plan E-commerce strategies that meet the needs of Brunswick customers o Partner with Analytics and Finance teams in maintaining financial opportunity and sales planning. o Perform opportunity sizing and research potential strategic initiatives to determine feasibility and financial return o Research, understand, and communicate foundational support requirements of potential opportunities:
technical, process and human resources. o Present your findings and strategic recommendations to create Enterprise alignment and obtain project approval and funding o Closely cooperate with E-commerce product ownership, development, and design (and other divisions) to make implement your recommendations o Analyze competitive and affinity marketplaces/ e-retailers functionalities, capabilities, and services, and advise how to use them to optimize digital commerce experiences and target KPIs o Own the creation of eCommerce sales plans including detailed annual budget and rolling forecasts for the digital marketing team o Drive sales, operational efficiencies and support the ecommerce roadmap by finding and maintaining best-in-class partners and vendors o Partner with business and brand stakeholders and product owners to ensure best business terms, ROI and utilization of all third party technologies and partnerships. o Manage financial aspects and business terms of external relationships with eCommerce vendors and partners, including pricing and terms negotiations. o Collaborate with key business stakeholders and technology partners to develop new initiatives that fully leverage digital platform capabilities and channels to drive sales and profitability. o Partner with the analytics team to develop meaningful Ecommerce KPIs and dashboards for the digital marketing team, executive team, and brand stakeholders o Provide regular, meaningful insights out of this data that enable the team to take action to drive sales and adjust strategy. Experience Requirements o Experience influencing strategy and budget decisions for enterprise digital commerce of at least $200m in sales o Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred o 10 years working in eCommerce or Digital leadership roles o 5
years Managing direct reports in Business and Analytics roles in eCommerce or Digital Experience o Proven experience with analysis and benchmarking o Experienced in analyzing current and past trends using financial statements and KPIs to create projections of revenue and expenses for eCommerce initiatives o Experienced in monitoring KPIs, highlighting trends, and analyzing causes of unexpected varianc We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
